PREECE Wines by Mitchelton Wines
I’m feeling all those wine, summer and picnic feels right now.
A massive thank you to Mitchelton Wines for sending over their 2020 PREECE Nagambie Rosé & King Valley Pinot Grigio alongside this delicious picnic hamper on Friday. Mr Spittoon and I had a fabulous arvo on the deck tasting this delicious spread which included Strahl wine glasses (virtually unbreakable high quality polycarbonate glasses made in New Zealand – perfect for picnics and pools).
PREECE Wines is Michelton’s regional collection which represents the best grape varietals from some of Victoria’s best wine producing regions. The grapes are transported to their Nagambie Estate where they’re made into wine.
The collection is named after Mitchelton’s founding winemaker – Colin Preece – know as one of Aussie’s ‘masterful blenders’.
2020 PREECE King Pinot Grigio
The 2020 Preece King Pinot Grigio is quite simply delish! I loved it! It’s a yellow-grey colour in the glass with floral and herbaceous notes on the nose, in fact it really relaxed me and made me think of a day spa.
In the mouth it’s juicy and fruity with a creamy yet refreshing texture. Think candied lemons, juicy apples and pears and a sprinkling of baking spice.
2020 PREECE Nagambie Grenache Rosé
While the 2020 Preece Nagambie Grenache Rosé is a beautiful pinky colour with notes of orchard fruits, berries and a hint of candy floss on the nose. It’s super thirst quenching in the mouth and pretty darn easy to drink! A yummy berry filled Rosé.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
