6Ft6 Wines has released a Pinot Noir Gin!
Pinot Noir + Gin, you cannot tell me this has not made your day. If you are a gin and wine lover, like myself, then I am sure you are going to want to get your hands on some of this Pinot Noir gin before it’s gone.
In fact, as soon as I heard about it, I put my order in for one of their Pinot Noir Gin + Wine + Plumm Gin Glasses gift packs. There’s no way I was going to miss out!
So while you salivate over the thought of a bunch of Pinot grapes being dropped into your next G&T, let me tell you a little bit more about this new product.
A collaboration between 6Ft6 Wines & Patient Wolf
This Pinot gin is a Victorian made product. It’s a collaboration between 6Ft6 Wines who are based just out of Geelong in the Moorabool Valley and Patient Wolf Distilling Co in Melbourne.
6Ft6 obviously provided the Pinot grapes and Patient Wolf created the gin. The Pinot grapes were soaked in the Melbourne dry gin for three months before light pressing and straining.
What does it taste like?
Firstly, I just love the colour, it’s a nice bright purple, which is really going to brighten up your next G&T. I don’t think I could describe it as well as 6Ft6 have done here:
“The perfect collaboration of distilled aromatic botanicals and rich layers of cherry, raspberry, and a hint of blueberry”
How do you drink Pinot Noir gin?
It’s just like any gin, it can work in your favourite gin cocktails, as a G&T, simply with soda water or on the rocks.
The recommended garnish from 6Ft6 is an orange slice.
6Ft6 have put together some great Pinot Noir gin cocktail recipes that will be sure to get you salivating:
