Millon Wines The Impressionist 2018 Riesling
I’m a sucker for a good Riesling. This Millon Wines ‘The Impressionist’ 2018 Riesling is made in South Australia’s Eden Valley and by gawd I love that label. So darn pretty don’t you think?
The Eden Valley is about 75kms from Adelaide. It’s known for its cooler climate and higher than average altitudes which are great for growing Riesling grapes.
Angus Wardlaw is the winemaker for Millon Wines.
This Riesling doesn’t just have a pretty face, it’s extremely tasty too!
In the glass, it’s a silvery lemon-lime colour. The nose is full of crunch apples, bright florals, and zesty lime notes. While in the mouth it has a wonderful balance of fruitiness and acidity with a smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and pleasing on the eye 😉
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Sorry for my slow reply Rob, that would be Angus Wardlaw – I’ll pop a link to his bio in the post above 🙂
