Marri Wood Park 2019 Margaret River Sauv Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc reminds me of the beach. I don’t know why but for some reason it’s a beach wine for me. Maybe because it goes so well with seafood.
This 2019 Margaret River (WA) Sauv Blanc I kindly received as a sample from the lovely folk at Marri Wood Park.
This Sauvy is made in tanks and made in a ‘drink now’ style – which is exactly what we did.
In the glass it’s a pale lemongrass shade. Notes of juicy pears, pineapple and snow peas entice you into the glass. While in the mouth it’s a rather elegant and delicate sauvy. It deserves to be paired with freshly shucked scallops in my opinion. Juicy, fresh and darn beautiful to drink.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
