Lightfoot and Sons 2016 Chardonnay Gippsland
I’m definitely a Chardonnay kind of girl and I have to admit I’m loving the local Gippsland Chardy’s! We bought this Lightfoot & Sons Wines 2016 Chardonnay for $28 (we also bought one of the Lightfoot & Sons rosés which is very good too!). This Chardonnay is a great chilled out Saturday afternoon wine in my opinion!
In the glass it’s s pale lemon shade with a slight green tinge. Notes of butter, florals, nectarines and a slight whiff of saline come through on the nose. While in the mouth it’s ultra smooth with plentiful stone fruit characters and a hint of lime juice. Yum!
