Hardys Wines HRB 2018 Riesling – Bin 679
I love my Rieslings! They’re so crisp and fresh when they’re just released and then if kept over time they age into something so creamy and moreish.
I recently received this Hardys Wines HRB 2018 Riesling Bin D679 to taste (thank you!).
The Heritage Reserve Bin (HRB) range is all about blending grapes from multiple Aussie regions. Hardy’s believe by doing this, it’ll complement and enhance the qualities of each region.
This Riesling is a blend of Clare Valley and Tasmanian Riesling grapes. And boy did it disappear quickly!
In the glass it’s a pale yellow shade. On the nose I pick up hints of flint, peach/nectarine and juicy lime acidity. That lovely acidity flows across the palate, with a nice smooth mouthfeel. It’s extremely crisp and clean.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
