Freixenet Pinot Grigio Garda DOC
You’ve probably heard of Freixenet and no doubt associate the name with Spanish Cava (fun fact – I actually visited the cava caves of Freixenet back in 2011). However they actually make wine from around the world, including Italy!
I was kindly sent this bottle to sample and look at that bottle – one to be washed out and turned into a vase perhaps 😉
This Pinot Grigio is available for around $26 and the grapes come from the Garda DOC region in Italy.
We found it a pale yellow shade with a light, bright and juicy aroma to it. In the mouth it’s easy drinking and fruit driven with mouthwatering flavours of pineapple and lemon. Thirst quenching for sure!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
