Evans & Tate 2010 Redbrook Chardonnay

I can confirm that even after pregnancy and giving birth that I still love Chardonnay!
We dipped into the cellar for this one as I was feeling like something a little special. We picked up a case of this Evans & Tate 2010 Redbrook Chardonnay from WA’s Margaret River a number of years ago and we are now down to our last bottles.
In fact according to my cellar management app (Oeno by Vintec – a great app that I’d highly recommend) we have one left.
We cracked it open and had a picnic on the couch with all the cold meats and soft cheeses I couldn’t eat throughout my pregnancy.
In the glass it’s the colour of liquid gold. On the nose it makes me think of camomile, fresh citrus rind, juicy melon balls, white flowers and just picked peaches. While in the mouth there’s still some nice juicy acidity in there with refreshing nectarine and old fashioned lemonade spiked with vanilla flavours. Mellow and smooth.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
