Bonking Frog Foreigner 2016 Sparkling Chenin Blanc
This week we celebrated our bubba being 1 week old! Naturally bubbles were in order and it’s safe to say I have been so looking forward to cracking into this Bonking Frog 2016 Sparkling made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in the Margaret River.
A big thanks to Windfall Wine Estate for this sample. Bonking Frog is one of the wine ranges from this boutique winery in North Boyanup, Western Australia. It’s named after the noisy frogs on the property, otherly let known as the Western Banjo Frogs.
It was the perfect tipple for the occasion!
In the glass it’s a pale lemon lime colour. The nose has a gorgeous burst of citrus (lemon, orange)with sweet florals and pineapple and apple sherbet coming through for me. In the mouth it’s thirst quenching, approachable and bloody easy to consume! A fun and extremely tasty bubbles.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
