Have you heard of Taminga? It’s is a white grape variety developed by CSIRO at Merbein. It’s suited to grow in the warm Aussie climate and is a cross between the Spanish Planta Pedralba and Sultana, and the variety Traminer. Which makes sense as to why it produces botrytised sweet wine (aka dessert wine).
