Comyns & Co. 2017 Mrs White Blend
So I definitely had a bit of baby brain over March and April as I ordered this Comyns & Co. 2017 Mrs White Blend from the Hunter Valley (NSW) not once but twice in a row without realising it. I aim to order new wines each time.
However on this occasion I was very thankful for baby brain as once I tried the wine, 2 bottles wasn’t enough.
A big thanks to Good Pair Days for continuously stocking tasty interesting wines and for sending me these sample bottles.

I picked this wine because of its unique blend of grapes:
- Viognier
- Semillon
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Muscat
I couldn’t wait to taste what this concoction produced… In the glass it’s a pale yellow, while on the nose I pick up hints of oaked fruits, citrus peel and spice. In the mouth it has plenty of body and zest with stonefruit, spice and a bit of flintiness coming through with a lovely citrus bite on the finish. I bet this wine would make for a great food wine.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
