Who else here loves drinking something outside their comfort zone??
A big thanks to Good Pair Days for this sample, it immediately grabbed my attention on their website from that unique blend to the awesome label design.
“Cloud Cuckoo Land is a classic Australianism describing an imaginary state of absurd over-optimism.”
Match it with some creamy chicken tagliatelle as suggested by Good Pair Days and voila – you have a great wine and food match.
We found this one a silvery lemon shade in the glass. The nose is vibrant with fresh passionfruit, apples, spiced pear and grapefruit zest enticing you into the glass. While in the mouth it’s light and delicate with that passionfruit coming through and it’s just so smooth and delicious. Extremely easy drinking, in fact it’s fantastic at disappearing before you know it.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
