Champagne Duval LeRoy Premier Cru Rosé
What a spot to see in 2019! We’re currently staying at Lebua Hotel in Bangkok (yes the hotel from Hangover 2) which was the perfect place to ring in the new year and experience the BKK fireworks.
This bottle of Champagne Duval-Leroy was the last bottle of champagne on the shelf at the supermarket up the road and it went down a treat!
It’s a Premier Cru Rosé made from Chardonnay & Pinot Noir grapes. The skin contact with the Pinot grapes gives it a pretty peachy shade in the glass. While admiring its beauty and those fine bubbles I pick up scents of French toast, fresh berries and a hint of anise and spice. In the mouth it smooth and curvaceous with plums and navel orange standing out for me. Yum!
I also have to mention that I loved the thin neck on this bottle ?
