  1. Exactly and if you find out what the hero wines are from the region then you’ll be able to experience what grapes thrive in that region. Like for instance in the Swan Valley Verdelho, Chenin Blanc and Shiraz grow exceptionally well 🙂

  2. This is a great idea, I think my friends would love to do this 🙂 I like the idea of picking wines from a specific region as well, makes sense then you get a good idea of what wines come from there 🙂

  3. Thanks for the lovely feedback Laura! Love the idea of the lasagna – something nice and easy to cook and consume afterwards. Enjoy 🙂

  4. This is great! I’ve been wanting to have a wine tasting for ages but was never quite sure how to do it without coming across as a bit wanky!

Doing it mid-afternoon followed by dinner (I’m thinking something hearty and easy to cook in bulk like a lasagna would be perfect, it could cook while I’m hosting) sounds ideal. I know it’s not rocket science but seeing it all laid out Ina post like this has made it all so much clearer in my mind!

  5. Thanks Jas! I really wanted to create something which was simple and to the point, at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is whether you like it or not anyway!

  6. Loved it! I will definitely be printing off some of the tasting note templates, they are nice and simple which would be great for first timers! Can’t wait to organise a tasting 🙂
