The Drinks Business – Top 10 Wine Faux Pas
I thought this was a great post which covers a lot of great misconceptions about wine. I loved the intro that wine is for everyone, don’t be scared about saying what you think of a wine. Who cares if Mr. 100-Point-Parker said it’s rubbish, have your own opinion. And hey if you’ve ever considered mixing red wine and coke, well then you should definitely read this post.
So I have actually tried a couple of these (Sting’s and ACDC’s wines) and they’re not too shabby, would def like to get my hands on a bit of Drew’s and Brad’s vino though! Whose wine would you most like to try from this celebrity wine producer list? Leave a comment below!
The Swan Valley Facebook Page – Big News: Talijancich Wines wins gold at International Wine & Spirit Competition!
This is absolutely fabulous news for the Talijancich family and Perth’s Swan Valley! Tali’s Julian James 1980 Solero Liqueur Shiraz, won the Gold Medal for the Red Fortified Wine category at the 2014 IWSC held in London!! News.com.au – Latest trends in wine for the festive season include natural and sustainable wines
I am loving following along the organic, natural and biodynamic wines train as this side of the wine world becomes more and more popular. The cool thing that I like about it is that the wines coming from this sector are getting better and better. I also found the part in the article about the wine app Wineosphere really interesting as I am currently trialling out a few different apps for an upcoming blog post so I may just have to try that one too! You can read the full article here.
To end this week’s I wanted to find a cool infographic to share with you all. I absolutely love Mexican food from nachos to tacos to burritos, you name it – I love it! This Chipotle + Wine Pairing infographic by Bustle is just simply making me hungry, I can’t wait to test out a few of these matches for myself!
