Terranu Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 – Coonawarra
Recently I came across a lentil spaghetti bolognese recipe and oh my it’s delicious and it is so darn easy to make. Which is a win, win in my books! Oh and it goes pretty nicely with Cabernet Sauvignon too 😉
A big thank you to the team at Terranu Wines who kindly sent us this sample to taste. It’s definitely not a shy red sitting at 15% alcohol, so if you’re looking for a red wine to warm you up over winter, you need to check out this big boy!

My Tasting Note
It’s a pretty garnet shade in the glass with delicious aromas of berries dusted with vanilla icing sugar. There’s a hint of anise and some aromatic wood in there too. It smells divine! Super enticing and mouthwatering. Surprisingly it’s not super big in the mouth nor do you get that big bold alcohol warmth. Instead it’s elegant, juicy and 100% moreish.
