Mr Spittoon and I really enjoyed sipping on this bottle of red while watching Gotham on Netflix (oh how memories of The OC come back to me!).
In the glass, it’s virtually opaque with a super deep garnet-purple tinge to it. The nose conjures up thoughts of fresh blackberries, cherry wood and a certain savouriness. While in the mouth I immediately notice the long finish and on a second sip I enjoy the upfront cassis and sweet mint with flavours that coat the mouth and are accompanied by rounded smooth tannins. Lovely!
