Taylor Made 2019 French Oak Chardonnay
Did you catch my post last week? I made cheese!! And drank Chardonnay winning
Yep thanks to the lovely folk at Taylor Made Wines for their free gift, I was invited to an online cheese making class with Omnom Cheese Making. I was sent a cheese making kit and this bottle of Taylor Made 2019 French Oak Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills to go with it.
If you haven’t signed up for the next class on the 26th of August you should do it!
When you buy your ticket ($43) you get to choose a bottle of wine to go with your cheese making kit. Naturally I choose Chardonnay.
There’s also a Pinot Noir or Rosé to choose from. I think my pick was pretty darn good though and potentially improved my cheese making skills.
It’s a yellow-y peach shade in the glass. Delicious notes of orchard fruits, vanilla oak, citrus and a bit of sea salt come through on the nose. While in the mouth it’s full of juicy peaches and nectarines with a lick of honeydew melon, subtle oak and smooth creamy cashew nut. Yumo.
So who’s coming to the next wine & cheese making class? I’ve ordered my ticket.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
