Tahbilk Grenache Mourvedre Rose 2018 & 2020
Tahbilk 2020 Rosé
Welcome to the world Tahbilk 2020 Grenache Mourvèdre Rosé from Central Victoria’s Nagambie Lakes.
Firstly a big thank you to Tahbilk for this media sample – I can definitely agree that it’s “fresh and bright and perfect for now”.
This year Tahbilk turned 160 years old (happy birthday) and this here, alongside a Marsanne, Riesling and Pinot Gris are the first 2020 releases of their Estate range.
This Rosé can be bought at the cellar door or via tahbilk.com.au for $21.50.
In the glass it’s a pretty shimmery rose gold colour. On the nose it’s a mix of red berries (strawberries and raspberries) with some tropical nuances and freshly squeezed lemons. While in the mouth it’s smooth, crisp and refreshingly dry. A definite summer winner #roséallday
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

Tahbilk 2018 Rosé
Happy Rosé Friday! This is the 2nd vintage of Tahbilk Winery’s rosé and it’s just been released (learn more about rosé wine).
It’s made from the Grenache (60%) and Mourvèdre (40%) grape varieties and comes from the Tahbilk vineyards in Nagambie Lakes, Central Victoria (read more about the wineries of Victoria). 2018 was considered a very good vintage and Tahbilk have predicted it as a great year for their reds.
In the glass, it’s a pale pinky-silver shade with passionfruit, red berries, sweet orange and a hint of musk lollies on the nose. In the mouth, it’s fresh and crisp wit
h those red berries and citrus coming through. There’s also a hint of tannin dryness. More please!
This one retails for $21.50 per bottle.
Thank you FireWorks PR Promotions & Events for sending me over this refreshing bottle to try.
