Christmas time is synonymous with bubbles am I right?
Thanks to the lovely team at Taltarni Vineyards, I recently received some bubbly samples to taste and it’s safe to say they’ve got me in the festive mood. The Taltarni range has recently undergone a new packaging design.
The Tasmanian wine adventures continue! The thing I was most excited about Tasmania was the sparkling wine. As some of you may know, I am a bit of a bubbles girl who doesn’t need an excuse to drink the good stuff. Well, it’s my first day back to work today for 2019 and I’m pretty excited for what the year has in store for me. A definite highlight for 2019 already was enjoying this bottle of Champagne Perrier-Jouët 2004 Belle Époque Blanc de Blancs Champagne at the highest open-air champagne bar in the world, Flute at Lebua Hotel in Bangkok on the 64th floor. Christmas Day in Thailand calls for duty-free Champagne. We picked up this bottle of G.H Mumm Champagne Blanc de Blancs at Melbourne airport for about the $150 mark. The limit for bringing alcohol into Thailand is only 1 litre per person, so we definitely were going for quality over quantity.
We also knew in Krabi, where we were going to be spending Christmas Day, that our wine and champagne choices would be pretty low. Continue reading →
