Stonier 2019 Chardonnay- Mornington Peninsula
Sometimes I wonder how many people stop reading my blog because I’m always posting about Chardonnay 😉
I wonder for a second, then I pour myself another glass of Chardy and start writing my next post on it.
This bottle of Stonier 2019 Chardonnay from the Mornington Peninsula I received as a free gift from the lovely folk at Dialogue PR + Communications (thank you). And it lasted about a day unopened in our house.
It has spent some time on French oak, about 50% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and it was all matured for 10 months prior to being released to really let those aromas and flavours shine. It retails for $25.
From it’s pale yellow colour in the glass to the gorgeous aromas of freshly cut nectarines, peaches, spiced pear and lemon – this Chardonnay is a beauty! In the mouth it’s super fresh yet it has a light syrupy and juicy texture. Darn easy to swallow if I do say so.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
