Plan B! Tempranillo Rose 2017
I love the TC Wine Club! I know I’m a little biased but it’s just so delicious and such an exciting monthly event.
Did you know: The indentation in the bottom of a wine bottle is called a ‘punt’? Thanks for enlightening us in your latest Last Glass magazine The Wine Gallery!
This month I picked this Plan B! Wines 2017 Rosé which is made from Tempranillo grapes from WA’s Geographe wine region. Can you tell I’m missing the WA wine scene just a little?
Plan B! started out in 2006 by wine and music obsessed, Bill Crappsley (who by the way has done over 53 vintages!). The team describe themselves as “free range wines that are free of corporate taint.” From avoiding too much chemical intervention to doing things their way, they are producing top notch quality wines and having fun while doing it.
I found the Plan B! 2017 Rosé a peach shade in the glass with eye catching twinkling orange highlights to it. The nose evokes thoughts of apricots, flint and spice while in the mouth it’s a mouthwatering summer pool party of raspberries and orange freshness. 100% smashable.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample #tcweekdaywine
