Olive Farm Wines 2016 Oaked Chardonnay
In case you missed it, Saturday was National White Wine Day. Okay so it’s ‘national’ as in America, but hey I don’t see why we shouldn’t celebrate too.
So I had a look in the cellar and thought this Swan Valley 2016 Oaked Chardonnay from Olive Farm Wines would be the perfect tipple to enjoy on a Saturday arvo. We picked it up on our last visit to the cellar door for approx $25.
In the glass, it’s a pretty light golden blonde colour. Notes of sweet citrus, fresh peaches and a bit of toast come through. While in the mouth it’s got a creamy, juicy and flavoursome nature full of vanilla infused melon and peach with a sprinkling of cashew nuts. Y?U?M?!!
