Olive Farm Wines 2016 Oaked Chardonnay

Olive Farm Wines 2016 Oaked ChardonnayIn case you missed it, Saturday was National White Wine Day. Okay so it’s ‘national’ as in America, but hey I don’t see why we shouldn’t celebrate too.

So I had a look in the cellar and thought this Swan Valley 2016 Oaked Chardonnay from Olive Farm Wines would be the perfect tipple to enjoy on a Saturday arvo. We picked it up on our last visit to the cellar door for approx $25.

In the glass, it’s a pretty light golden blonde colour. Notes of sweet citrus, fresh peaches and a bit of toast come through. While in the mouth it’s got a creamy, juicy and flavoursome nature full of vanilla infused melon and peach with a sprinkling of cashew nuts. Y?U?M?!!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
