Loluk Bistro Sparkling Brut
If you’re familiar with the restaurant scene in Sydney then this bottle of Loluk Sparkling Brut may ring a bell. This bubbles has been produced purely for the Surry Hills French restaurant Loluk Bistro Sydney and I’ve heard whispers that they may actually start to sell it online in the near future.
In the glass, it’s a sandy golden colour. I pick up notes of biscuits/shortbread, grapefruit and a hint of nuts on the nose. While in the mouth it has a vibrant effervescence, refreshing lemon citrus acidity and is definitely not shy in flavour. After perusing the Loluk menu, I’d love to sip this full flavoured sparkler while enjoying the ‘Magret de Canard, Gnocchis Provençaux Maison’ aka Duck Breast and homemade provençal gnocchi.
