Corryton Burge 2018 Barossa Shiraz
It’s been raining here all weekend, but hey, it doesn’t stop us having a picnic! Yep it was on the lounge floor, but that didn’t matter when we had such good wine and food to enjoy.
The lovely folks at Corryton Burge sent us over a gift box full of Barossa Valley goodies (thank you Amelia and Trent!) and let’s just say we want to be on the next plane to SA as soon as borders open back up.
We enjoyed both the Corryton Burge Pinot Gris and the Shiraz.
Make sure to head over to give this new brother & sister duo wine label some loving.
Here are my notes on the 2018 Barossa Shiraz:
It’s a juicy plum red colour in the glass. On the nose it’s full of aromas of fresh berries and rich mocha notes. While in the mouth it’s rich and opulent the chocolate covered cherries and chocolate flavours. It went incredibly well with our triple cream Brie and the Berry Fresh freeze dried raspberries.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
