Champagne Tsarine Now Available in Australia!

I had my first Tsarine Champagne experience in 2020 when we bought a bottle of the Champagne Tsarine Cuvée Premium for $50 from Dan Murphy’s.
It is from the champagne house Chanoine Frères which is the world’s second-oldest Champagne house. It was founded in Reims in 1730! Today it is led by one of the first, and few, female winemakers in Champagne, Isabelle Tellier.
Champagne Tsarine has now collected 42 awards and Tsarine Rosé Brut has won 50 awards after taking home the Gold Medals at the Berlin Wine Trophy Competition and the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards.
The design of the bottle is Russian inspired and dates back to when the Chanoine brothers travelled to the Russian Imperial courts to try to sell their wines – and after many months, Elisabeth the First, Tsarine of Russia, tasted and bought the first bottles
Champagne Tsarine Rosé Brut Review
Currently $65 from Dan Murphys.
We were kindly sent this bottle as a sample in 2022. After trying the above a couple of years earlier, I was super excited to try this Rosé champagne. And let’s just say it didn’t disappoint.
In the glass it’s a gorgeous peach shade with vibrant aromas of raspberries and strawberries with a hint of almond croissants and lemon cream. It’s super refreshing and thirst quenching in the mouth with a gorgeous redcurrant finish. I could drink it allll night long.
And it’s perfect with cheeses, bread and platter-food. Tap below to watch a quick video.
Champagne Tsarine Cuvée Premium Brut Review
Currently $55 from Dan Murphys.
We enjoyed this brut champagne with cured meat as an aperitif and it didn’t go down too bad at all + was friendly on the bank account.
In the glass it has a golden sheen to it. On the nose it made me think of freshly cut apples and pears with some crackers on the side and a sprinkling of white pepper. In the mouth it has plentiful effervescence and juicy orchard fruit flavours with refreshing citrus notes. Very dry style of champagne.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
So glad to hear you enjoyed it Waz and thanks for the lovely feedback about my blog 🙂
Cheers Casey, had a bottle of Tsarine with lunch today and found it much as you described it. 50$ from my local bws, though they said reduced from 65!
Read a couple of your other reviews and like your tone n style. Good luck with everything.
