She was sending me updates all night as I sat in front of Netflix, to say I was just a bit jealous is an understatement! The Travelling Corkscrew has been heading along to Scarboroughs Sunset Wines since it started, back in 2014 and the event continues to evolve to suit the changing landscape of what alcoholic beverages Western Australians are enjoying.
Last years Sunset Wines was bittersweet, as I knew that the event was going to be the last wine event I would be heading along with Casey for a while since she was moving to the Gippsland Wine Region in Victoria, and boy did we make the most of it on that day.
You may have seen that I was recently back in Perth (to accept an award at the Swan Valley Wine Show – yes I am still absolutely thrilled about this!) and even though it was only for about 24 hours, I made it a high priority to check out my old neighbour – Pinelli Estate in the Swan Valley.
