Abbey View 2019 Pinot Rose Margaret River
It’s rosé and salad season again.
We’re having some nice weather at the moment here in regional VIC (it’s going to be 29 here today) so last night Mr Spittoon made my current favourite salad recipe (a steak and potato Weight Watchers recipe) and I cracked a bottle of rosé to match.
Thanks to Cellarmasters we are prepped with 12 bottles of rosé for summer thanks to their 12-month Rosé subscription which we have been trialing (thank you for the samples guys!).
If you’re a rosé lover then you may want to check out this subscription. 3 times a year you’ll get a case of rosé sent to you for $156 per case + free delivery. And there’s no joining or cancellation fees.
I really enjoyed this Abbey View 2019 Pinot Rosé from WA’s Margaret River – it went down an absolute treat! Light and tasty, actually it’d make the perfect lunch or even brunch wine.
In the glass it’s a pale peach shade. Delicate notes of strawberry and cherries intermingle with fresh citrus on the nose. While in the mouth it’s just so dainty and easy to consume. Let’s just say it’s really good that you get 4 bottles of it in the subscription pack.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
