Talijancich Zabava Shiraz & Grenache Blend (Swan Valley, WA)
“Zabava” – should be your motto for the week!
Zabava is a Croatian word meaning fun and entertaining. Which is what this Swan Valley light red wine made by Talijancich Wines is.
On the back label, it says to chill it and have it in a sparkling wine glass. So that’s exactly what we did.
In the glass, the 2016 Zabava has a slight spritz to it and is a lovely ruby red colour. On the nose, it’s full of plentiful candied juicy berries with a hint of spice that carries through to the palate making it an extremely smash-able tipple. I could imagine drinking this over the festive season as it’s bursting with cheer.
