It’s time to pop the rosé! Hands up if you love to drink pink !
This pretty little number hails from Wills Domain Winery in WA’s Margaret River region. Introducing Cuvée d’Elevage Sparkling Rosé. It’s made from 100% Merlot, is matured in stainless and retails for $39.

On the eye it’s a baby pinky peach colour. On the nose it’s all those yummy red berries, think strawberries, raspberries and cherries laced with sweet lemon acidity. In the mouth it’s a bit like fizzy peaches, raspberries and cream with a nice smooth acidic finish. Elegant and pretty!

Sauvignon Blanc – my go-to fish’n’chips wine and summer thirst quencher! Plus between you and me, I really love Aussie Sauv Blanc. Especially from WA. It just seems to have that perfect balance of tropical fruit flavours and zest with a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel, making it über approachable. Continue reading
