Any wine with a recommended food match for pizza is a winner in my eyes. Nothing beats pizza and wine for me!
What’s the wine and food match you can never turn down?
I recently received this Mystic Spring 2018 Shiraz from Wills Domain Winery (thank you!!) in WA’s Margaret River. The recommended food matches are “Beef with pepper sauce. Pizza. Aged Cheddar Cheese.” I’ll take all 3 and 3 glasses of wine thanks, who’s cooking??

This pretty little number hails from Wills Domain Winery in WA’s Margaret River region. Introducing Cuvée d’Elevage Sparkling Rosé. It’s made from 100% Merlot, is matured in stainless and retails for $39.

On the eye it’s a baby pinky peach colour. On the nose it’s all those yummy red berries, think strawberries, raspberries and cherries laced with sweet lemon acidity. In the mouth it’s a bit like fizzy peaches, raspberries and cream with a nice smooth acidic finish. Elegant and pretty!

Sauvignon Blanc – my go-to fish’n’chips wine and summer thirst quencher! Plus between you and me, I really love Aussie Sauv Blanc. Especially from WA.
