Scali ‘Sirkel’ Pinotage

Yes, we did crack all of the last months The Travelling Corkscrew Wine Club bottles in the one night! Jeeze my parents drink like fish 😉

I even made South African Bunny Chow to go with the wines. Aka soak it all up I think.

Scali believe in a zero chemical-intervention approach to winemaking and as such are a certified organic winery.

I really enjoyed this one from its ruby red colour in the glass to its smoky leg ham and cherry nose. Those cherries then mingled with flavours of raspberries and earthy olives and pepper in my mouth. Yumo! The Wine Gallery suggest to match this with Bobotie, another South African dish I am eager to try.
