Pol Roger Brut Reserve NV Champagne
We made it! Baby TC’s 4 month birthday of course called for champagne this week Despite being on a budget haha!
We went back to an old favourite – Pol Roger Brut Reserve NV which we picked up (contactless click and collect of course) at our local Dan Murphy’s for $70.
It was a great way to toast our amazing little man and his 4 months earth side. And we actually had it with steak. We didn’t really think about that food match. But hey, we were happy with it!
In the glass the Pol Roger was a pale yellow with delicious aromas of lemon & lime, popcorn and water crackers. While in the mouth it’s super smooth and by goodness it slips down the throat with ease. I forgot how much I enjoy this champagne.
