Pandemonium Estate 2013 Shiraz Tempranillo ‘Barbas’
Does anyone else decide what they’re going to eat based on the wine they want to drink? That’s how I tend to roll.
I picked up this Pandemonium Estate 2013 Shiraz & Tempranillo earlier in the year from their cellar door and thought it’d be a tasty match for some home cooked paella.
If you haven’t yet visited these guys in Perth’s Swan Valley, they’re only a 30-min drive from the city, so do it!
My tasting note: Deep garnet colour in the glass with dark fruits, spice and oak coming through on the nose. While in the mouth it’s smooth and fruit forward (think juicy plums and raspberries) making it very approachable and food friendly. Yum!
