Champagne Chateau de Bligny Grande Reserve Brut
It’s time to hit my ‘Press for Champagne’ button (yes it’s a real thing in my Grand Cru Digital office)! This week we celebrated 8 weeks old – 2 months!! Wow I know everyone says it goes fast but it’s so hard to think we don’t officially have a newborn (I read newborns are 0-2 months) anymore.
Anyway to celebrate we picked up this Champagne Chateau de Bligny Grande Reserve Brut from Dan Murphy’s for $55. It was one we hadn’t seen before so thought we’d give it a shot.
It’s a a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes and it’s absolutely scrumptious! We would buy it again for sure.
Think bright citrus notes with white peaches. It has a smooth texture and great length to it. In fact when drinking it I didn’t even write down any notes at the time as I was enjoying it that much! I’m already looking forward to my next bottle.
Have you tried it? Or do you want to?
PS: You can buy your very own Press for Champagne button from House of Go Lightly – this is not an ad, I just love mine so much!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
