Bailey Wine Co 2018 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

It could definitely be the cooler weather, however it’s safe to say since having our bub that I’ve definitely reached for a glass of red over white. It’ll be interesting if that continues to happen! Did your tastes change after having a bub?
One of my recent tipples was this Bailey Wine Co 2018 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon sample (thank you!).
Bailey Wine Co are a small family owned and operated business by Tim and Kate Bailey and are based in Coonawarra, South Australia. They have over 25 years of experience in the wine industry and started Bailey Wine Co in 2015.
This Cab retails for $30 which you can buy via baileywineco.com
Here’s how it went down in our house:
Deep velvet red purple colour in the glass. On the nose it’s full of blackberry jam, juicy blueberries, dark choc and a hint of florals in there too. Black fruits dominate the palate for me with juicy tannins and acidity giving it oomph. Plus it had a yummy lingering finish.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
