What is UnWined WA?
UnWined is Western Australia’s boutique wine and food festival held in Perth. 2014 will be the 4th year the festival has been running. I went in both 2012 (read my 2012 post here) and 2013 (read my 2013 post here) and absolutely loved it, it’s such a casual, laid-back wine festival in Perth and it’s getting better and better.
This year there’ll be even more wineries involved representing some of WA’s best boutique wines, olive oils & produce will be available to try and buy at the event, food stalls will be serving meals and snacks at the event and of course a ton of live entertainment! All wine and food tastings will be free, however if you wish to purchases glasses of wine or meals, there’ll be special festival only pricing.
Chloe & Kelly, the ‘everyone loves to hate’ runner up contestants on My Kitchen Rules 2014 will head up the live cooking demonstrations (which are free of charge to attend). Full Bottle Wine Education will host the fabulous wine appreciation seminars throughout the day, which are also free of charge to attend.
Plus there will be great live entertainment under the park’s central gazebo such as the unique James Wilson with his guitar, didge and electronic peddle drums and the Tahnee McKay Trio for chilled out tunes.
How much does an UnWined WA ticket cost?
Pre Purchase: $23
At the Gate: $27
Tickets include; entry, tasting glass, free tastings access to cooking, wine seminars and entertainment. Meals can be purchased, wine by the glass can be bought for on site consumption and bottles and produce may be purchased to take home.

Western Australia wine is zesty and fun, why not head on down south to grab some
There is no wine like WA wine! I have traveled through wine regions in Europe and New Zealand and growing up Italian means I’m.a little obsessed with finding a good wine. Nothing beats the wide range of wine we have here in WA. I’m.so obsessed that when traveling down south with friends, I made them go out of their way to Cape Mentelle while still pregnant to buy a bottle of my favourite wine you can only get at the cellar door just to celebrate with after giving birth. I tasted it 2 years ago in a bar and never forget the taste! That’s how you know WA has the best wine.. it’s unforgettable!
Western Australian wine is simply the best. Having traveled through wine regions in New Zealand and Europe, I’ve tasted many of different wine, especially growing up Italian. I love our wine so much and have never tasted such a wide range of wines as we have here in WA. I’m so obsessed with wine that when traveling down south, I made my friends go out of there way while pregnant, just to buy my favourite cape mentelle wine which you can only buy at the cellar door to have after giving birth.
Good luck every one! 🙂
