Shiraz and goats cheese tart
Tempranillo with chilli mussels ….. amazing goodness!
Spaghetti alle Vongole and Verdelho…Yum!
Nannup Ridge Firetower Cab Merlot with steak, crispy potatoes and mushroom sauce
Singlefile estate Pinot noir with slow cooked beef brisket. ?
Pinot Noir and duck bao buns for sureeee
Venison or kangaroo kebabs done on the barbie with a Cape Mentelle Wilyabrup cabernet blend – health food!
I just enjoyed a Riesling with my Mexican and it was delicious 🙂
A smooth cab sav with traditional antipasto, a winner every time !
Love a good Margret River shiraz (may I suggest Brownhill Estate) with my steak
Fish and chips on the beach with a side of green salad topped off with a 2010 Klikanoon Covenant Shiraz #summertime #yum#simplelife
For the Kiwi’s, I highly recommend Whittakers Artisan Range (Hawke’s Bay Black Doris Plum and Roasted Almond Dark Chocolate) paired with a beautiful New Zealand Pinot Noir. Unbeatable!
Brown Hill Bill Bailey Cabernet Shiraz with roast lamb. Under the stars if possible!
Well, it has to be A Primo Estate Sparkling Red with roast duck in a red wine sauce!
I love the Killerby King Malbec with a good juicy burger
I love a great salad like BBQ prawns, avo, greens and coriander with an asian style chilli/lime dressing teamed up with a chilled SBS like Stella Bella Skuttlebut. Ok now I’m thirsty!
My favourite wine and food match would have to be a cab merlot with some Lindt dark chocolate!
Definitely going big&bold with Lamont’s Black Monster! Braised beef cheek gnocchi with fresh crusty bread! Yumo
Oooooooh…. For me it would be a cheese based pairing. Let’s go for a Harvey Hint of Blue (ripe, like gooey) with a Howard Park Riesling
Summer wouldn’t be right without my famous lentil salad and a chilled crisp glass of Lamounts Riesling. Even the biggest of carnivores have been won over by this combination. (I think the wine may have helped a little…)
Wise Wine ‘Sea Urchin Chardonnay’ paired with my favourite seafood dish – Stuffed Chilli Mussels ??
As we head towards summer (she optimistically says), I’m looking forward to heading south to catch a beautiful Margaret River marron or two, swinging by Juniper estate for a 2016 Crossing Chardonnay, and enjoying them simply at my riverside camp, with bread, butter and maybe a squeeze of lemon
Prosecco and oysters!
Stella Bella SB, Seafood/white fish
Cab Merlot & Roast Lamb
Hillcott Merlot with a Beef Roast & yummy potato/cauliflower bake.
