Handpicked Wines x Gorman 2019 Rose
Fashion and wine anyone? Excuse my clothes in this picture, I think I need to do some online shopping.
Introducing Handpicked Wines brand new fashion collab with clothing brand Gorman. This limited edition 2019 Rosé is made from Pinot Noir fruit from Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
Thank you Roxane & team for sending this sample over for us to try. It went down a treat on the recent 30 degree day we had.
The label artwork is inspired by Gorman’s latest collection – Mediterranean Magnifica – ‘a visual collection of classic Southern European sojourn’. I have to admit, I’ve just spent a good half an hour or so browsing through the collection.
So what did we think of the vino?
Well on the eye it’s an eye catching blood orange shade. I found the nose rather earthy and perfume like with some red berries and definitely a good oomph. In the mouth there’s an abundance of flavours from sherbet to pear, subtle vanilla, some tropical fruits and it has a wonderful dry finish. Fruity and savoury are the same time.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
