Baily & Baily Silhouette Series 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (1 Litre)
Last month, Mr Spittoon and I had a Bingo party thanks to the team at Baily & Baily.
To help celebrate the release of their new 1 Litre bottles, we were sent an ultimate party pack full of all sorts of goodies. We had a really fun night, playing Bingo and eating and drinking of course. Since the new 1 litre bottles only retail for $10, they are the perfect accompaniment for a cheap and cheerful evening.
All the wines in the Silhouette Series range are inspired by Bingo names too. This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is the ‘No.1 Kelly’s Eye’. After playing a few rounds of Bingo, Mr Spittoon and I are definitely hooked, haha, what great fun and it’s easy to play even after a few glasses have been consumed!
So what did we think of this one? Here are our notes:
It’s a juicy, dark cherry red colour in the glass. On the nose it’s not overly intense with notes of berries, milk chocolate and a hint of mint. While in the mouth it’s dry yet fruity with a medium body and plum flavours that cover the mouth. Easy drinking and great with quince and cheese.
