  1. Love it. anything non-alcoholic. Why, why, why, do none of the wine makers in Australia package alcohol-free wine in cask form??????????????????

  2. Thank you for your comment Samantha and sorry for my slow reply! I think with non alcoholic wine, you have to treat it like anything, it is its own product at the end of the day and shouldn’t really be compared with anything else. It’s like Champagne and Prosecco, yes they are both sparkling wines, but they are totally different products. Try some of the ones I mention above, and read my descriptors to get an idea if they may align with your palate. To this day I still think one of the best I have come across is the Noughty Bubbles 😉

  3. In your opinion is there actually a non alcoholic wine that tastes exactly like wine. I’ve tried a few and am extremely disappointed. They are all very sweet. I don’t care if it’s a Rose, Red, White or Sparkling. Help… lol

  4. Hi Peter, thanks for stopping by the blog. I would say this all comes down to the legal requirements. There are things that wine producers have to have one wine labels and as dietary/nutritional information is not a must, then they don’t add it. You can read more about labelling requirements for wine here: https://www.wineaustralia.com/labelling/domestic-labelling. I would say for non-alcoholic wine, it is beneficial for them to add this information as a big sell for the product is that they are essentially “better for you”.

  5. Why do Non-Alcoholic wine labels have dietary information and Alcohol wines have no Information?

  6. Thanks for popping by the blog Andrew. That is crazy that she hasn’t tasted wine before – I’d definitely be interested to hear what she thinks of the non alcoholic wine out there.

  7. Casey my partner has never tasted wine (hard to believe!) but I will certainly check out the non alcoholic wines at Dans and other retailers. She better had get a wriggle on as we have discussed going for a holiday to Hobart and beyond. Keep up the great work.

  8. I think one you lift off was Inah Cabernet Sauvignon. It has all the benefits of a red wine with alcohol.

  9. I personally really enjoyed it Wendy and I have just ordered the Shiraz from the Funky Monkey range to try as well, so I’ll let you know how I go. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of it too! What is maison?!?

  10. I am so excited to see a pinot noir on the non alcoholic wine list, im definitely going to have to try that one, I also liked the McGuigan zero sparkling (they have a rosè as well that brought back childhood memories of maison).
