I am so excited to share with you all that I have partnered up with Explore Tours Perth to bring to you the ultimate wine tour in Perth! We will be taking 12 wine appreciators out for a day in the Swan Valley to go behind the scenes at some of my favourite wineries. There are plenty of wine tours out there, but the Travelling Corkscrew Wine Appreciation Tour is the first of its kind. It’ll be a day of wine drinking, eating and chatting about all things wine. I’ll try not to trip over, spill red wine down me or embarrass myself, but seeing as I’m the most un-classiest wine blogger out there, I can’t make any promises.
We understand the date we have set is grand final day, if you can’t miss the game but are still keen on jumping onboard a TC Wine Tour, please register your interest here as we MIGHT do another one.

Itinerary:
I’m keeping this top-secret as I want to take you to spots which you potentially haven’t been before. They are some of my favourite spots in the Valley and to get your taste buds tingling you can check out my Swan Valley Guide.
Pick up & drop off points:
To make it easy we can pick you up/drop you off anywhere along the route shown on the map (click to enlarge). The main pickup points for the day will be the Tourist Coach Stand outside Perth Train station on Wellington Street and Guildford Train station, however if you would like to make your way to anywhere on the red line shown on the map we will be happy to stop and pick you up at a pre-arranged time and place.
The red line starts near Currambine in the Northern suburbs and runs down Marmion avenue all the way to Trigg where it turns onto Karrinyup road until the Mitchell Freeway. The red line then joins the Freeway and heads into the City where we stop at Perth Train Station before continuing down Wellington Street until it turns onto Lord street. The line then follows Lord Street until it turns onto the Guildford Road all the way up through Maylands and Bassendean until it reaches Guildford.
The Travelling Corkscrew Wine Tour of the Swan Valley was both fun and informative. As a Perth local, I discovered plenty of new places to visit in the Swan Valley that have now become my firm favourites – who new about an organic vodka made from grapes or a place that lets you print your own wine label! Casey was an awesome host, and thanks to her encouragement my palate has finally broken the Shiraz rut” – Nina
My experience on the travelling corkscrew wine tour was one to be remembered. Casey had meticulously planned the day to ensure fun was had by everyone. I loved that she kept the group small to ensure maximum attention and interaction with the amazing winemakers she took us to meet. Since the tour, I have revisited every single winery we stopped at one the day, some twice. Delicious wines, beautiful views and awesome winemakers all too eager to share their knowledge and passion with us all. Can’t wait for the next one” – Heidi
Thanks Nina, it’s going to be a fantastic day!!
This looks fabulous Casey. I love the Swan Valley but have only ever experienced the more tourist haunts and think this is a fantastic opportunity to get the insider’s edit and find out about some lesser known spots too.
